Milprazon for Dogs
Milprazon is an oral deworming solution for dogs. It works against different gastrointestinal worms and is also effective in preventing heartworm, if at the same time the tapeworm treatment is indicated. This oral treatment is composed of two active ingredients, Milbemycin Oxime and Praziquantel. Milbemycin acts upon roundworm spices including Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascarus leonine, Trichuris vupis, while praziquantal works against tapeworms including Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp, Echinococcus spp, Mesocestoides spp.Regular use of Milprazon oral treatment will save your dogs from the health risks associated with worm infection. This worming treatment can be safely administered to pregnant and lactating dogs. Milprazon is suitable for all dogs age 2 weeks and older weighing above 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg)
How does it work?
Milprazon is composed with two active ingredients Milbemycin Oxime and Praziquantel. Milbemycin Oxime works against roundworms and also works as heartworm preventive; it affects pest membrane leading to hyperpolarisation and eventually death of parasites. Praziquantel on the other end works on Tapeworms, it depolarizes neuron membrane; the imbalance results into expulsion and death of the parasite occurs.
