What is Panacur Equine Granules?
Panacur Equine Granules is a multi-spectrum anthelmintic for the treatment and control of adult and immature roundworms of the gastrointestinal tract in horses and other equines. It efficiently treats the roundworm infections and protects horses against recurring intestinal worm infections. The granule formulation is effective against larval stages of S. edentatus), adult and immature small strongyles (Cyathostomes) (benzimidazole susceptible) including encysted mucosal 3rd and 4th stage larvae. Panacur also has a strong ovicidal effect on nematode eggs. The oral granules are easy to dose with no known side effects in horses.
How It Works?
Panacur Granules are richly developed with a strong anthelmintic agent – Fenbendazole. The active ingredient belongs to a class of benzimidazole carbamates. It interferes in the energy metabolism of the nematode. The anthelmintic efficacy is based on inhibition of the metabolic activities. The component attacks and eliminates both adult and immature stages of gastro-intestinal and respiratory nematodes. The active ingredient is safe for horses.
